Cure not miraculous
Quoted from Mobile Register, Saturday January 22,2005 p1D Faith&Life
"Over the years I have witnessed what many people would consider miracles, but I do not consider them as such. Mary Baker Eddy, defines 'miracle' in part as 'that which is divinely natural.' She further states in her book 'Science & Health' that 'a miracle fulfils God's law but does not violate that law.'
Through my study of Christian Science I found complete cure from a cancerous condition through prayer alone 20 years ago. But I do not consider it a miracle, since I was not asking God to remove something and hoping he would hear me. Instead I was praying to know the condition was no part of me because God did not send it. I believe that as we all come to see ourselves as the image and likeness of God, as stated in the first chapter of Genesis, such healings will seem less miraculous."
