Virus healed and check found

I had a "virus" for three weeks. I seemed to have a sore throat and fever which kept coming and going. During the course of our conversation, I remarked that I knew I would have to see myself as spiritual some day, but I wasn't there yet. You said I needed to understand that now.

After we hung up, I sat in my chair and pondered the fact that I was a spiritual being right at that moment. Within five minutes, the sore throat and fever began to go away and never came back.

In addition, when I returned the phone to its cradle, I noticed that my stack of receipts from my husband's expense account checks was getting thick and needed to be filed. When I picked them up, I missed the first two, revealing the third in the stack. What I saw was a two month old check for $1,900 that I had filed and forgotten to deposit. My husband and I had paid the bills with our money and not gotten reimbursed. What a clear picture that error was exposed!

Rash healed

I need to tell you of a healing I had during your lecture. During the July 4th weekend I thought I had been bitten by a mosquito a couple times on the inside of my elbow, but it didn't go away and expanded into what looked like a rash, and was itchy. When I got home on Sunday and was getting ready for bed, I noticed that it was gone.

Calm heart

A few weeks ago as I was beginning to sleep, my heart started racing. I began to be afraid. I immediately said the Scientific Statement of Being (p468 Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy). I repeated "perfect God and perfect man". I knew this wasn't a part of me and that only God was present. I knew that I am God's perfect spiritual idea without a single element of error. A very important verse from the Bible was the culmination of my prayer, "the spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life."

A short time later the symptoms left. My gratitude for God is unending.
